29/02/2008 - Bye Bye Empennage, hello gadgets

The empennage was final taken away for storage this morning at 730am !!!  but before it was taken away I could not resist a couple of shots of a flying MX5 !!

In the evening I decided to take a few pictures of the extra equipment I bought for wings from Vans. 

So first up is the fixed fuel pick up tube so I don't have to make one myself. Next to it is the aerobatic flop tube.  I decided one fixed and one floppy; which means I will have to label up to remember which tank has the flop tube in it for aerobatics.
